History
MeteorBall was first released as a game for Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone. This web version rebuilds that game for the browser with its original artwork, music and sounds. The 33 official levels, the way the meteor moves, the scoring and each level's Perfect Score are carried over from the original, including its quirks.
Community levels you can trust
- A level made in the Level Creator is verified only when its creator beats it, and that winning score becomes its Perfect Score.
- When a level is published, the MeteorBall server independently replays the creator's winning moves on the submitted level and refuses it unless they win with that score.
- Community leaderboard scores are calculated by the server, by replaying the player's moves on the exact version they played. A score sent by a browser is never trusted.
- Published versions are never changed. A creator's update becomes a new version with its own ratings and leaderboard.
- Players can report a level, and moderators review reports. A report never removes a level automatically.
