The 33 Official Levels

MeteorBall comes with 33 hand-made levels, the same ones as the original game. They unlock in order: beat a level to open the next. Each one has a Perfect Score, and earns you up to three stars depending on how close you come to it.

The levels start gently. The first two have nothing to place: you just watch how the meteor flies. From there, new kinds of piece arrive one or two at a time, and the last levels mix them all, with more pieces, more hazards and longer countdowns. Every level's page shows its starting board, the pieces in your toolbox, the time you get, and what counts towards its score, without giving away the solution.

Where each kind of piece first appears

• Shuttles, Satellites and Astronauts to protect, each worth a bonus while intact: first in level 1, Meteor
• Deflectors (\ and /), which turn the meteor: first in level 3, Bouncer
• Curves, which bend the meteor by an eighth of a turn: first in level 6, Die Angle
• Bars, which bounce the meteor back the way it came: first in level 11, Unibrow
• The Red Switch, which flips every red piece when the meteor crosses it: first in level 13, Meet Red
• Red pieces, which only work once a Red Switch has switched them on: first in level 13, Meet Red
• Permanent pieces, fixed in place on the board: first in level 24, Concrete
• Alien Ships, which must all be destroyed before the meteor may enter the wormhole: first in level 29, ALIENS!
