MeteorBall is an online puzzle game operated by ShareDev Technologies, LLC ("ShareDev," "we," "our," or "us").
By accessing or using MeteorBall, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. About MeteorBall
MeteorBall is a browser-based puzzle game featuring official levels, custom level creation, community-published levels, ratings, and leaderboards.
The game is currently provided free of charge.
We may introduce additional features or monetization options in the future.
2. Eligibility
MeteorBall is intended for a general audience, primarily teenagers and adults.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
Users who are minors must have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
Additional age requirements may apply in certain jurisdictions.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You agree to provide accurate registration information and not impersonate another person.
You may not:
- Access another user's account without permission
- Circumvent account security
- Create accounts for fraudulent purposes
- Use automated systems to manipulate ratings or leaderboards
- Interfere with the operation of MeteorBall
We may restrict or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Gameplay
MeteorBall provides interactive puzzle gameplay.
Game mechanics, scoring, progression, and available features may change as the service evolves.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every level will remain available indefinitely.
5. User-Created Levels
MeteorBall allows registered users to publish custom puzzle levels.
You retain ownership of original content you create, subject to any rights belonging to others.
By publishing a level, you grant ShareDev Technologies, LLC a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and make that level available through MeteorBall.
This license includes technical modifications necessary to operate, maintain, and display the level.
You represent that you have the necessary rights to publish your content.
You may not publish content that:
- Violates applicable law
- Infringes another person's rights
- Contains inappropriate or abusive text
- Impersonates another person
- Attempts to exploit or disrupt the service
We may remove, hide, or restrict community levels that violate these Terms.
6. Level Verification
MeteorBall requires creators to demonstrate that a custom level can be completed before publishing.
Published levels are independently checked by the server.
This verification confirms that a submitted sequence of gameplay actions satisfies the game's rules.
It does not guarantee that every player will find the level easy or enjoyable.
7. Ratings and Leaderboards
MeteorBall provides community ratings and competitive leaderboards.
Leaderboard submissions are checked against the game's rules.
You agree not to manipulate ratings, scores, play counts, or other community statistics.
We may remove fraudulent activity or restrict accounts involved in abuse.
8. Community Moderation
Users may report community levels that violate our rules.
ShareDev may review reports and hide, remove, or restrict content when appropriate.
We may take action to protect users, maintain fair gameplay, or comply with legal requirements.
9. Ownership of MeteorBall
MeteorBall's original game design, software, graphics, audio, branding, and other proprietary materials are owned by ShareDev Technologies, LLC or their respective rights holders.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of MeteorBall's intellectual property to users.
You may use the game for its intended personal entertainment purposes.
You may not copy, redistribute, commercially exploit, or reverse engineer protected portions of MeteorBall except as permitted by applicable law.
10. Advertising
MeteorBall may display third-party advertisements.
Advertising helps support the availability and operation of the game.
We are not responsible for the products or services offered by independent advertisers.
Interactions with advertisers are governed by their respective terms and policies.
11. Service Availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features when necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or business reasons.
We do not guarantee continuous availability.
12. Account Deletion
Users may delete their accounts through the available account controls.
Account deletion may anonymize historical community records.
Published levels may remain available under an anonymized creator name or be withdrawn according to the options offered during deletion.
13. Disclaimer
MeteorBall is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ShareDev disclaims warranties not expressly provided in these Terms.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free gameplay, or particular gameplay results.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ShareDev Technologies, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of MeteorBall.
Any limitations are subject to applicable consumer protection laws and other non-waivable legal rights.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, except where mandatory applicable law provides otherwise.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as MeteorBall evolves.
